Privacy Policy

This policy covers Aspen Roots LLC's Chrome extension, Presentation Console, and any data it touches. If Aspen Roots ever adds other tools, this page will be the place those get covered too.

What we store

Your presentations, branding settings (logo, colors), and Default Theme are stored using Chrome's built-in storage for extensions. This data stays on your own device and syncs only through your own Chrome profile. We do not have access to it, and it is never sent to Aspen Roots or any server we operate.

Payment and account data

Upgrading to Pro is handled entirely by ExtensionPay and Stripe, not by Aspen Roots directly. When you upgrade, your email address and payment details are collected and processed by those services under their own privacy policies:

We receive confirmation of your paid status from ExtensionPay so the extension knows to unlock Pro features. We do not receive, see, or store your payment details ourselves.

What we don't do

We don't run analytics or tracking scripts, sell or share your data with third parties for advertising, read the content of any page you're using the extension on, or track your browsing history. The extension only displays the tracker you've set up, on the page you choose to launch it on.

Permissions

Presentation Console requests the following browser permissions, each used solely to provide its core function:

  • Storage: saves your presentations and settings locally on your device
  • Side Panel: displays your live tracker in Chrome's native side panel, one of two placement options
  • Context Menus: adds a right-click option to quickly launch a saved presentation
  • Scripting: displays your live tracker as a floating modal, the second placement option
  • Active Tab: identifies which tab to launch the tracker on
  • Host permission (all sites) : the modal placement needs to be able to display on any website, since we can't predict in advance which page you'll be presenting on

None of these permissions are used to collect data beyond what's described above.

Children's privacy

Presentation Console is a business tool intended for sales professionals, trainers, and presenters. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Meaningful changes affecting how your data is handled will be reflected here before they take effect.
